Private Client Grade I Listed - Comprehensive restoration of buttresses to main tower and repointing works. Architect: Pick Everard, Leicester in conjunction with English Heritage The soft ferruginous limestone, over a period of time, had denuded to a point where it was compromising the structural stability of the main tower at All Saint's Church, Hoby. English Heritage specified that each and every stone should be recorded and those stones deemed unsatisfactory were to be replaced with new solid ironstone. Whilst the scaffold was in place, Boss Stone also carried out a full repoint using lime mortar. The photgraphs show part of a buttress before and after work was undertaken. |
